Field Notes' 67th quarterly issue for summer 2025 coincides with the American release of "Is a River Alive?", a brilliant and important new book by Robert Macfarlane. Through three epic journeys, Macfarlane explores the state of the world's rivers and the people who are working to protect them. It is an incredibly comprehensive story, interwoven with a deeply personal fourth river narrative, and it has inspired Field Notes to create this limited edition.
