In the 1940s, Ignacio and Luis Alcázar, along with their cousin Agustín Andrade, left their hometown of Tocumbo in the state of Michoacán in search of a better life. Upon arriving in Mexico City, the trio opened a small shop selling "paletas"—frozen treats on a stick, crafted from real fruit and fresh ingredients. This vision served as the inspiration for the limited-edition Paletas collection.
