Field Notes

Field Notes is a US-based notebook brand headquartered in Chicago. Since its founding in 2007, the company has produced handy notebooks and accessories. The brand originated from a collaboration between the Portland-based Draplin Design Company and the Chicago-based design studio Coudal Partners. Field Notes is characterized by simple notebooks with lined, graph, or blank pages and a brown cover. The company also regularly releases limited special editions in small print runs.
